New Next Venture Motorsports 7075 skid system

Interesting. Seems like they are raising the bar for skid plates. I'll consider these when my current skids need replaced.

I put these on in November of 2021. They work great, you do have to remove the factory fuel tank skid plate.

This is an updated version. the Aluminum is only flat plate. I really like the way this goes together. it looks like it would be WAY easier to get in and grease a front drive shaft with this set up.

Hard to swallow the high dollar.

Reusing 84jeepjohn’s EBYCREEK’s pic, I had thought this is a weak point when I first saw their design. Would the skid contact the exhaust pipe if landed on a big rock? I don’t see any supporting brackets on the engine skid side that connects to the steel?

That's Ebycreek's pic (wish mine had the skids and MC lift already )LOL
The Price, Is I think close to what the old set up was I think.

As for that location being weak, I would think it would be a weaker section, BUT I know they have beat on these...so I would think they engineered them to hold up to some abuse.

Thanks for correcting me. Yea Artec uses one piece design and it seems to be better, I can’t tell the real differences though.

Last year I had talked with TNT custom and liked their design with a steel crossmember, but they never made it available. The owner has a 392 and sent me this pic.

Ok I like that crossmember in the last pic. The Artec one looks like it would be stronger, since the orriginal cross member is around there I think

You are correct, no support on the engine side of the mount. The exhaust bracket is steel and is held into the crossmember with 4 bolts. I've drug it pretty hard for a couple of years. I know because I always repaint it after each trip. So far haven't had a problem with it yet. My friend and I both have the same setup.

You can remove just the transfer case skid plate to get to the front driveshaft. I've added the FAD motor along with the Atlas Transfer Case so I don't get near the miles on the front driveshaft anymore. Minimizes the lube requirements on the front driveshaft. You can also run the Tazer in Force 2WD along with the FAD motor if wanted.

I see they are a new updated version with a new updated price.

That is one area we addressed in the new 7000 series skids. The 3 bolts that tie that exhaust shield into the back of the oil pan skid can begin to pivot if hit hard enough repeatedly. They're all in line with each other.

In the new skids, we've got a completely different bolt pattern for the 392 here that resists that pivoting.

If you've got our early skids, and you're a hard user, give us a call - we've also got a retrofit piece for you guys that was inspired by this. This isn't a case of "you've got the old system you're SOL" - we can do these for the aluminum oil pan (early MY21) and (late MY21 to present) steel oil pans. Everything has it's bending/breaking point, but this moves the threshold way up.

Appreciate it! Happy to be on here; it's great to already get feedback from just reading through the forums, but it's always better to get on here and ask questions too. We'll have some new videos coming out the next couple of months going into more detail on the new systems; so thanks for watching!

Thanks for posting up and updating us! I can't wait to get mine...at some point LOL

I just saw that come through. Thank you for the order! Appreciate the
The upgrades you did to the 7000 series are really great.

Given I go on some pretty gnarly trails, your skids will give me piece of mind that my 392 is protected.

Thanks for answering all my questions.(y)
