Pleasure to be here and thankful to the founding members to have created a form specifically for 392 owners. I've been a lurker here for some time and found many great posts. I figure it's about time I start contributing what I have instead of just consuming what you've all given the community.

I picked up my 24' 392 with "all options checked" about 5-6 months ago with a 7-year 3rd party warranty so I don't ever anticipate this baby visiting a dealer. I've clocked 8,500 miles on it in the mean time with a whole handful of amazing adventures. This is my first jeep, coming from a tacoma and a nissan frontier I can say 2 things about the jeep. 1) god damn does this vehicle make things easy in comparison and 2) god damn is the jeep community great. Everytime I hit the trail I inevitably end up making a new friend. I also love how jeeps look after each other out there. I've had so many people stop to check we're OK while just airing up/down or taking a break to enjoy the scenes. That level of confidence is so nice since often times I am solo.

I'm local to the Brea, CA area but wheel all around SoCal so if anyone else has some local groups they ride with I'd love to meet ya sometime. Also love RC Rock Crawling since I picked my SCX10 up so if anyones got some groups for that too I'd love to join in!

My mods list won't be very "sexy" for quite some time. I think this truck is more than enough to tackle everything I'm doing. My skill offroad is no where near the limit of the truck and I'm a firm believe of getting yourself into sticky situations to learn and understand the vehicle as it's used by you, and upgrade based on data acquired not just what looks cool.
  • Tazer JL Mini (Can confirm the latest update is working flawlessly so far on my 24'. No issues with Turncam or other UConnect related previous issues)
    • 2WD is enabled to do whatever I can to potentially protect my T-Case. Atlas will be swapped if any issues...give me a reason, I'm begging to dig.
    • WinchMode is utilzed at 1300RPM to achieve 45-53psi Oil Pressure to assist in mitigating hemi tick / low rpm_idle issues known on Hemi's
    • Cooldown mode is utilized all the time for short stops where I used to idle, now I set cooldown mode on and shutdown. I'll swap a starter or a 6.4 any day.
      • I use and am still learning a host of other features but these are features I wanted to share so others could research. A lot of this info I found here at jeep392.com
  • Factor55 Flatlink & hitch link + custom made kit using their bag/equipment etc really aimed at getting myself unstuck while solo. So essentially doubling up on tree savers, pulleys, etc so whether I need to go forward, bakcward, or sideways I should be covered.
  • Quadratec dead pedal
  • Redline hoodlift
  • Bulletpoint Dash solution for me and GF's phone + radio + free spot for the GoPro I don't own lol can't be bothered to buy a camera when there are so many more parts I want first
  • 3W Floormats
  • Speedflate 4 wheel inflate/deflate system paired to a ViAir P400
  • American Adventure C-Pillar fire extinguisher mount
Immediate Future Upgrades
- Replace 3W floormats and go with a full Armorlite setup (Interested in this mostly for sound reduction and insulation)
- PowerTank system (mostly to reduce idle time while airing up though WinchMode helps a lot with this 'fear')
- Onboard air system to replace ViAir as a "backup" for Powertank
- Hotheads system for the OneTouch liner again mostly for noise and insulation
- Rocker Panel protection
- Mounting solution for Shovel, Jerry Cans, and ActionTraxx boards (2x)
- Replace Dif & T-Case fluids early to avoid potential underfill issue from the factory

Far Out Upgrades
- 37" tires so I can sign up for the Rubicon Trail Jamboree event
- New lift kit, not quite sure who at this point MetalCloak or JKS

I've spilled more than most will probably care to read. I likely won't be a high contributor here and often aren't too talkative so I figured I'd start off on the right foot. I'm mostly here to acquire or share information I learn as I go. I plan on doing all maintainence so if I find any guides are missing here I'll be happy to provide them as I learn myself.

BTW, the QuickJack seen in one of the pictures is a standard 5000TL model series, I believe the most popular. It had no problem lifting the jeep or keeping it there. My research shows that the company totally over engineers these things and there are videos of them holding multiple times it's weight without failure. I am not using any of the SUV/Truck extension mounts, just the standard rubber blocks that comes with it.

Not a founding member, but welcome!

I bought a few RC crawlers a couple years ago, but haven't done much with them. My Jeep ones are SCX24 and I built a Capra from the kit. Planned on building a crawling course in my woods, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
