New Magnaflow Exhaust

One of the best features of our 392's is the exhaust button. The article says they are working on a system that will still take advantage of that. :)
I spoke with Magnaflow last week and they said their street exhaust coming out in February retains the factory valves. So i'm holding out for this exhaust as well.

I’ve been keeping my eye on this exhaust as well as the system Borla is developing (if they still are). I can’t decide if I want to go with the MF high clearance system that basically deletes the factory garbage can hanging below the rear bumper, or wait for their street version. Or maybe go cheap and skid plate the factory muffler (God how I hate that thing). Then again I need my 392 built first! Supposedly that’s happening this week. I’m not holding my breath.

I hear ya, my 392XR is supposedly on a train and scheduled to be delivered this Saturday. We will see. I’ve also had a Grand Wagoneer on order since March 18th and it has been built three times and is now back to D status.

Fingers crossed it arrives this weekend. I wouldn’t be able to sleep! Man I don’t know what to say about your GW…I guess the same excuse everyone uses for everything these days: “COVID”

WTH? Built three times and back to D. Have they been lying to me the whole time?

It’s been escalated as high as it can be, whatever that means, and now they are saying they will talk about some type of compensation once it finally delivers which will be next year at some point.

Borla is just about to release theirs as well.

I ordered the magnaflow rock crawler exhaust last week. Signed up to the website to notify me when they were available for purchase, and two days later got the email, they were in stock and should be on by year's end. Hopefully there will be room for an aux fuel tank where the massive muffler was...

That’s what I was thinking…please keep us updated

I called Magnaflow they told me they have part number ready and by hopefully end of March is when they think they'll release the exhaust.

$3700 for a cat back? I'm interested in upgrading exhaust, but don't you think this price is just ridiculous? I know you have to pay to play, but holy crap!

I hope borla does better since they reuse the stock actuators.

My ATAK cat back on my SRT MSRP was $1895. Bought it from Amazon and they were having a sale. I scored it for $1495. Very reasonable! I’m hoping they are in the same pricing for their new set up, but unlikely due to raw materials cost. The additional piece to this is, the manufacturing numbers. They know they’ll sell less and will likely compensate for that and justify the project with higher pricing.
My estimate with Borja will be $2500.
Cheaper than others, but smaller market, more R&D, higher raw materials cost, increased wages, increased benefits, etc., etc., will drive up the price.

Final answer. $2500
I’m so confident, I’m almost willing to bet on that. +/-$100. 🤓
