Hello,

New Jeep 392 owner here! Just picked it up from the dealer this morning and started ordering parts. Any recommendations on some anti theft devices would be great. Lots of options with varying prices.

Thanks,
Avery H

Here's the ones I chose for my 392:

Rugged Ridge Hood Locks
Advanced Wheel Locks
IGLA
LandAirSea 54 Overdrive GPS tracker

Runner Ups:

Mobilistics Relay
Ravelco
RecovR GPS tracker

You will probably want to search this site for two IGLA threads to read details about it. The other products can easily be googled for more info.

Congratulations on your new 392.

Also, look in your cargo area for your MOPAR Jack Lift Block. Stellantis has been failing to ship them in a number of instances. If yours is not there, contact your dealer to order one to ship to your house. If they don't understand, point out that your Build Sheet says "MOPAR JACK SPACER" which is that block. It is Mopar Part Number 68523873AA and will look like this:

Your 2024 Owner Handbook page 52 states that vehicles that are factory-shipped with 35-inch tires will have this block supplied in the cargo area. Often enough, its missing in the vehicle at delivery.

Thanks for heads up! I checked my cargo area and mine is missing. It was there on my 2023 XR but not on my 2024! Frustrated

Your local Ravelco dealer is here. They did a great job on mine. Bet they’ll give you a discount if you contact them directly and bypass the corporate sales guy.

Agree with the LandAirSea gps tracker

You can also get legit locks for the wheels without the risk of being defeated with Rimlox....there are available options for many wheelstud styles....I run them on my Hellcat and breathe easy knowing no one is making off with them ever

WHAT. This is the first I've heard of this.

I didn't get one of these unless its stored with the jack. I haven't looked at that yet.

Damn, not sure it's worth talking to the dealer though. Maybe just get the AEV one.

Is it on the window sticker? I do not see it.

Yeah, I was merely reading through the Owners Handbook that I had found in my glove box and ran across that statement on page 52, then went a-looking for the block. I don't think it would fit in the area for the jack, btw. That's probably why they said "cargo area".

So I called the dealer who had assumed it was a Jeep Cares thing since the sale had been made. Called Jeep Cares, got passed around like a whiskey bottle from toll-free number to toll-free number. Seems nobody at Jeep is familiar with this issue either. Ended up back at the dealer who found a Jeep geek on the payroll who knew what I was talking about. So I got all of the details from them and presented them here to hopefully make it easier for the next guy.

Not on the window sticker. Maybe that's why it's missing in the vehicle, my guess. It's on the Build Sheet. Do you have yours? If you don't, the dealer should have it, or have one for another 2024 392.

Here is page 52 from your 2024 Owners Handbook where I have placed red boxes around the relevant information:

Regardless of where the problem is, the Owners Handbook says I am to have one. They shipped it to my home at no cost to me.

Not one my build sheet or window sticker.

Oh, my dealer called that the Priced Order Confirmation (POC). Your POC should say this at the top of it:

What others have been calling the Build Sheet is this document where, on page 1, I've redacted my VIN and where, on page 2, is the MOPAR JACK SPACER which I've made red font. Mine is a 10-page PDF. I don't know how to upload a PDF to this site but here are pages 1 and 2:

Build Sheet as of 020524 VIN pp 1-2_Page_01.jpg

I think I downloaded mine from one of those non-Stellantis Jeep order tracking sites.

Ok, thank you. I'll look into it.
