I ordered my new 392 on 5/18/21, it moved pretty quick and was ready for shipping on 6/28/21. So fair I have gotten three different delivery windows with the latest being possibly early August, I have set up at least three cases with a promise from the various Reps. I have spoken on the phone that would get a call and email from a Customer Service Rep. So far nobody has called or emailed me and I know more than my Dealer. Anybody else having this issue. On a side note my Dealer is getting deliveries weekly if not daily of new Wranglers and Cherokees L. I think they are all built at the same plant why wouldn't my truck be in one of the deliveries unless there is an issue??

Any clue.

Really seems to be no logic in how the 392s are built and 90 days from order to delivery would seem to be much faster than most have reported.
Just one call out, I believe the Grand Cherokee L is built at North Jefferson Assembly in Detroit while all Wrangers are built at the Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio.

I ordered my 392 on 17 February and it was available for pick up from the dealer on 19 May FYI.

No specific rhyme or reason. There is a list of vehicles they ask a driver to take and if it fits, it fits. If not then they take what they can, is what a driver told me. They try to fill a truck and the rail yard determines what goes when.

The frustrating part is there is no real information, I agree I think it was built in a good time frame but to have it sit to be shipped longer than the actual order took to process and build just seems strange, I actually ordered my last Jeep and it was stuck in inspection for so long they created what they called a " ghost unit" which was an exact copy of my original order. It showed up 4 weeks later and then the dealer got my original order 2 weeks after that, The whole process from start to finish was about 14 weeks

As long as there’s allocation, the expected time is 72-90 days before it makes the lot.

For comparison, the last 3 I’ve ordered have arrived in:

72, 75, and 77 days

Got mine yesterday. It finally shipped last Saturday and showed up at dealer on Wednesday. Overall came pretty quick it is just the feed back or lack of what you get on building and shipping info that drives you crazy.

True that! The total lack of information....and when you receive information, it is either vague or inaccurate. It is hard for me to understand why this is. I know its parts dependent, but Jeep knows in advance what is being delivered parts wise, so why the vagueness. My dealer said 12 weeks.....I think its more like 16 (if at all) at this point.

I just got word that my window sticker has been generated. In your all’s opinion, how long before I’m sitting in the drivers seat of my build? Thanks

My Jeep was delivered about two weeks after the sticker became available, but others here may have had different experiences.
