Just got an xr 392 with power top at Hunt Jeep in Franklin Ky. Ask for John Garrett. Great dealership to work with.

It’s surprising to me how many you can still find for sale now just by searching the web. Here’s a white XR, looks loaded except for the satin grille:

XR shortage? Maybe not at this point?

1 thing to remember on the online inventory is that customer sold orders still show up on the dealership's inventory when it's enroute to the dealer.
But all these are AT the dealer, currently for sale. Pics included!

Well this blue one was ordered same day mine was ordered by the owner of the dealership so this one i know for a fact is for sale and not for 120k niether. A person could probably pick this one up for a reasonable price if they didn’t want to wait for 7 months. Just trying to help someone out if they have the cash and willing to drive to Franklin Ky for it.

I would be shocked if these folks were selling close to sticker. Seems like they would be scooped up almost immediately. Demand certainly seems higher than supply. I really think I will be able to sell my 2021 with 15k miles for close to what I paid for it and order a 2023, but will see......

I only have 5k on it now btw

Wrong. But if you believe everything you see on the internet, I have some land to sell you.

I started reaching out to some of these dealers and one or two things seems to be universal. 1) the Jeeps are sold (but we can order you one); 2) the price listed online does not include the “market adjustment.” Classic bait and switch.

Define “reasonable.” 10% off MSRP? MSRP? $10k over? Reasonable is pretty subjective.

Well you people seem like you already know about this dealer. I’m just saying that this is where i am purchasing mine and have worked with these fine folks before. Just have to call and try and work a price out that you are happy with. All i can say.

That literally doesn't answer my question. Just answer the question. What is a "reasonable" price? Are you paying MSRP for yours or not? Is this dealer gonna jack the price by $10K or more just because it's in stock? That's all I'm asking and if you know the dealer so well, you should be able to answer the question. Sounds like maybe you don't know what the price on it is, but you just don't wanna say that.

Good questions but I’m most certainly not going to get into what i have worked out with dealer. But the dealer can most certainly be able to help you with any questions you might have. Just give them a call.

Here it is

The sale price is ONLY 96K, BUT no dealer or document fees. So there’s that.
That ad could be for jeep they don’t even have. Pics are stock photos of non xr. Description says xr but 97mph top speed calibration. Lots of inconsistencies.

Fair enough, BUT If that’s the case can you imagine what they would ask for a XR 392. It has to be over 100k, if they are asking 96K for a Non-XR.

Agreed. Most of the one's I've seen that are legitimate ads have had a big mark up. About the only way to get one near MSRP is to order it or find a nice person that changed their mind on the order and is willing to let it go for no profit. That is probably only going to get worse now that you can't order them at all.

I think those that have their orders already in can count themselves lucky. I really hope they do something cool for a grand finale for the 392 in 2023 before the 3.0 tropical depression, stiff breeze, dust devil, weather system, or whatever takes its place. If they do something really cool, I'll order a 2023. If not will keep rocking it in my 2021.

Having said all that...the markups make a lot more sense now that you can't order one at MSRP and I bet a lot more people will be willing to pay those markups rather than wait for 2023 models. At this point, is there any guarantee how long 2023 order banks will be open and what will be available?
