Just throwing this out there if anyone is interested…

I ordered a black 2022 392 XR with tow package and half doors (no other options) back in November, from Koons.

I wound up purchasing a 392 XR from a dealer in December and have been loving it of course.

Anyway, my build has just arrived at the dealer and I just declined it 5 minutes ago.

It’s a done deal. Picking it up next week, but keeping the halves, sorry. I will be selling the xr wheels and tires though. My only regret is it’s black lol. I may have to wrap it. Black is so hard to keep clean

Another guy started a thread with some pics of his black matte. It’s where I got the inspiration to order another black and do the matte wrap.

I had Black JLUR for 4 years and it was so hard to keep looking nice. I’m extremely happy with my decision, the matte wrap looks really cool and is a breeze to clean and looks great even when dirty.

My advice is to put the wrap over the big RUBICON lettering on the sides of the hood, it’s what we both did and looks great.

But don’t put the wrap over the Rubicon Unlimited stickers on the panels in front of the front doors. Didn’t come out so well, I’m probably going to have them strip off those panels and redo.

You even have the tires I’ve been searching for lol. Not sure if I want to do a blackout version or not. Remove all the bronze. Yours looks good with it though, so may not.

It is! great mod! It’s off now, along with the hard top, until November. Use a softop, almost exclusively in the down position, for most of the year.
