Based on the size (at least in the Ram version), wouldn't they have to totally re-configure the dash? I can imagine Jeep waiting until the supposed 2023 refresh to do this but who knows.

They do have the 8.4" UC5 in the new '22 Jeep Compass, so they should be able to do it before/without any dash redesign...

What are you hoping to get out the UC5? My wife has it on her WL and a lot of those features and capabilities don't seem like they'd make sense in a Wrangler

Less lag time, add wireless car play, less frequent reboots, less frequent freezes, less frequent bugs like camera lines disappearing…. And on. And on…

What I’d like to “get” is get rid of pretty much everything that sucks about 4C. That’s what I’d like to ‘get’ out of it.

Fair enough, I was just curious why its a big ticket item for some people. I'm coming from an 07 JK and an 18 WK2 that has a baby UC4, I'm working around the wireless issues with the adapter (which I know not everyone is about), and adding a wireless charging pad install for the console when I get it. Just asking and learning while I get my wait over with lol
