My first email from Jeep since order placed

Just got my first email from Jeep today, does this mean anything to my build? I'm still in D status since the order placed on December 2nd. This kinda gives me some hope that the build will start soon... haha. Did anyone get this same email and how long did it take before the build started after this email?

I received the same email this morning. I take it to mean we are getting closer to some real movement on the order. Sounds like there was a large batch of people getting this email as others said they received on another thread.

Haven’t received ANY emails throughout the entire process from Jeep… I know dealer has it correct and submitted it, and Jeep chat has it associated with my VIN but never a single email.., what does the email state?

You never know what's going on with their system... an email can give a piece of mind many times...

My order is in D1 status and I have never received an email or other communication from Jeep. My dealer keeps me posted on updates weekly

My dealer would only update me whenever it moves to D1. That's why I was a bit excited receiving this email. It probably doesn't mean anything WRT the build.

My Jeep is packaged and ready to ship... not a single email during the entire process. The only emails I get from Jeep are wanting me to get a Jeep credit card. Eh... thanks but no thanks.

I just got the same type of email this morning and I only just ordered my 392 about 10 days ago. My email also contained the VIN for my vehicle which is kind of cool.

Okay, ironically, I received my first ever email from Jeep last night as well. The link they provide to "prepare" doesn't do much other than take me to "My Garage" with my other Jeeps...

First email in 15 months.

yeah its really marketing material for Wave and the Garage App. The fact that I received the VIN in the email is a good thing, at least that shows the build is at least closer to being real. I am sure still going to be 3 to 5 months

Caveat: I also initiated Jeep Chat last night and was asked to complete a survey afterwards, in which I took the opportunity to let them know that their communication through the process pretty much stinks and Chat adds no value. Could it be coincidence? Did I finally trigger their automated system to add me? Did they finally update their email servers from NT 4.0?

@zuess42 I agree... Finally having something from Jeep with VIN is satisfying. Everything to this point (including original VON and the VIN) I had to pull out my dealer. They didn't volunteer anything. I have to hound them.

My dealer has been in stealth mode or at least radio silence since ordering in Mid October. I have heard nothing and received no emails. After reading this thread I decided to initiate a chat with Jeep and also register at Jeep Wave and low and behold I got an email within 24 hrs showing an arrival date around the end of February. So it might be coincidence or related but contacting Jeep chat helped. I did order half doors and gorilla glass but basically a mid October order is supposed to be delivered at the end of February. Hope that helps.

I got my email this morning. As of Wednesday I’m still in D status. I Ordered Nov 26 2021.

You are a few days ahead of me so I would imagine that you should be right in that same group. But in your case they should FedEx it overnight to make up for everything you have gone through. We are almost there buddy!
