My 392 XR went to D1 today

This is the second time I emailed the sales person since I placed the 392 XR on December 2nd. I checked on January 10th and knowing it was still in D. This time I was told it went to D1 status this morning and with an estimated ship date of 3-4-2022 so it will be sooner than later now!

I also did a Jeep chat to confirm and got this:

I can see all the required materials for your order have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production, it should be entering the build very soon!

And when I asked for the estimated ship date, I was told:

Unfortunately, we do not have an Estimated date or time, I advise you to contact us next week for an update or you may contact your servicing dealership.

This is definitely the highlight of my Monday! It's a 4-hour drive from the Jeep Plant Toledo OH to the dealership in Western PA, so hopefully the actual delivery won't cause too long delay. I'm really excited and I consider myself lucky it went to D1 after 2 months. Sending positive vibes to everyone else in the wait game!

I just checked with my dealer today as well and was pleasantly surprised that I’m at D1 with ship date of 2/24
I ordered 1/24 non XR. Got message two weeks ago from Jeep that all parts were gathered.

We ordered the sameday, what options did you add? I got towing, gorilla, smokers, sting and XR. I kept it basic. Mine is waiting to be shipped. Weird yours is stuck. Gotta be a option holding her up.

Agree. I’ve read about the rails being a possible culprit. Cam too. Hmmmm. I hope you get some good news soon! You’ve had a tough go at it.

Oh man, who would think those little things could have caused such painful delay.

I started doing research back in October, and eventually decided to only add the XR package, nothing else. I removed the cam, tow, GG, headliner from my build list.

There's this thread here too: https://www.jeep392.com/threads/no-more-xr-package-for-order….875/ It definitely sucks if you can't order the XR with 392 while it can be added to other lower trims.
