When you hit the Metalcloak website, you will notice that our 392 Specific Suspension kits are not just a drop down in our standard Game-Changer Line-Up... they are specifically crafted kits designed for a very specialized rig...

From the 2.5" budget friendly True Dual Rate Kit to the 4.5" Full Game Changer System, we have a kit for [just about] everyone's needs.

Thinking Long Arm?

Those kits are coming soon.

Choices..... geesh. coming from the JLURD with the 4.5/5.5 springs. Never had issues with my MC setup.

Now need to make a decision for the 392.

What are the true lift numbers over stock lift? I have the ‘24 if that makes a difference. My understanding is that the advertised lift heights don’t include what we already have stock.

My Gamechanger 2.5" lift finally settled out at 1" lift over my stock 392 XR. But, ... I have aftermarket steel front and rear bumpers and a 12K Warn winch. I also have RSE step sliders with the optional additional skid plate. And I have Metalcloak full skids, Metalcloak drag link, tie rod, track bar brace, sector shaft brace, all of which are heavy. And an aftermarket spare tire carrier with a 37" spare, on board air, and a M.A.S.S. storage shelf in the cargo area that is loaded with recovery gear and survival gear that I carry all the time. I would say my Jeep weighs north of 6,000 lbs.

Ride quality and off-road capability are fantastic, but I hoped for a little more lift. I plan to upgrade to the 3.5" springs, or maybe 4.5" in front and 3.5" in back. The good part of my set up is that it has been living with the stock front driveshaft for nearly 2 years, and no problems from it. I have been holding off on the taller springs because I have been a cheap skate and trying to avoid getting a new front driveshaft.

Ultimate lift height ultimately varies based on how your rig is set up... larger spare, no spare, winch, no winch, etc... but, for instance on our 3.5" Game Changer, stock to stock we normally see about 2.75" - 3” of additional lift.

I’ve noticed that some competing lifts are engineered to account for the natural lean to the passenger side via either by spacers or side specific springs. Does MC do anything to prevent any lean to the passenger side?

We are actually not seeing much leaning issues with the 392. We do have options for those that do lean. Our upper coil supports come in two sizes... the 392 gets the same smaller size on Drive and Passenger. If you have a rig that is leaning, you can put the larger size isolator on the side that is leaning.

Are you running the factory wheels? I want to install the 2.5" MC lift but don't want to run spacers or change wheels.

Running method bead grip wheels proper off set to allow full articulation with no rubbing. I like the factory wheels but not enough offset wheel spacers not so good in my opinion. I would like more ground clearance but I also don’t like hiking up into the jeep multiple times a day

Yes came with lift as I ordered rock sport shocks they are so so.looking at ADS. Friend has them and is very happy with them, they are about an hour from my house . Another friend just got Fox 2.5 he is also happy with them . Parts for ADS rebuild are $95.00.each plus 50 labor. If needed.

How much lean are you seeing?

How much lean are you seeing?
3/4 inch with full tank on level garage floor. Level at 1/4 tank. Others have posted similar. I measured at front door hinge bolt a friend added two of MCs rear spring washers on the passenger side that leveled it out. We both started out with 2 washers on each side to give the rear just a bit more rake also to allow for some additional gear in back. So now he’s at 4 spring shims on passenger side it sits level. My Jeep rarely has a 1/4 tank or less. I keep it full. And it’s always full when starting on a run
