Well I decided to put my soft top on yesterday. I forgot how awkward it was to get the hard top off. Plus this top is painted so I needed to be extra careful. I’ve decided to buy a top lift pro for the future. I need to know if I need to buy the extensions due for the height of the Jeep. The requirement is that the top of the weatherstripping for the rear window is 70” or less. I can’t measure mine because the hard top is already off. Would someone take a quick measurement from the ground to the top of the weatherstripping to see how tall it is, it’s a non-xr stock everything. I attached a picture from their website that shows what they want.

Maybe you can look at pictures on this thread and see if he has the extensions. My hard top is off too.

Can consider a Lange originals Hoist a Cart. 300 cheaper. Not as easy to operate as top lift pro, but can store in a smaller foot print because top will swivel to vertical position. This is what I ended up going with so I can roll it into a corner of my steel building. Top lift pro probably better if you are storing in garage because you can turn it around in front of vehicle and kind of drive under the hard top.

Just another option and it works fine with 392. Just took mine off the other day.

Thanks for the reply. I was considering the Lange but I was concerned that it required more attachments to use it. But the trade off is that it swivels to vertical.

I use the Lange cart. You can definitely remove and replace by yourself. As has been mentioned, the best part is the small footprint and cart being very mobile with top on it.

Rear Bumper Step Height: 25.5”
Weather Seal - Center 43.25”
= 68.75” give or take 1” = under 70”
