thankyouI think the Livernois tune can do this, but have to buy extra pcm if you want to be able to hide changes from dealer. $699 for programmer and tune and $700 for extra pcm I think.
thankyou
Doesn’t work on our Jeeps….at least not mineHow To Disable MDS on Hemi Without The Use of a Tuner
This option provides a temporary means of deactivating the MDS on your HEMI. This method doesn’t require any tools, and it doesn’t reprogram or modify the ECU- Engine Control Unit.
- Put your truck in drive
- Release your parking brake
- Go to your steering wheel and push the gear down until it gets to 8
- Leave your truck on 8, and you can drive around without your truck going on the ECO mode or the MDS being activated
- You will have to repeat this process or steps every time you get in the truck or put it in park.
Don't know if this will work on 392 but might be a stop gap measure until you find a more permanent solution.
Mine still goes into 4cyl with tazer installed, but I have yet to get it to come on if offroad+ .The MDS on my 392 with Tazer mini is not displaying the 4cyl dash light or it’s not actively working. Anyone experience this? I’ve been in 8th and hiway speed and with flat or downhill slope and under no load my current MPG will go above 35-40 with light constant pedal and I’d assume that was MDS but not sure because 4cyl light not coming on and it was before Tazer install. Thanks
shifting with paddles.Does that mean if paddle shifters are engaged? I can’t get it to work in normal Drive mode.
Some people have said their's would go into 4cyl in OR+, but I haven't been able to duplicate it. I would love for more people to chime in on this. Do some of the jeeps have a different calibration?Don’t think it will in OR+
Mine doesn't go into 4cylinder in OR+ only way I've gotten it so far is Manuel shift mode. Some people have said their's would go into 4cyl in OR+, but I haven't been able to duplicate it. I would love for more people to chime in on this. Do some of the jeeps have a different calibration?
Mine shows up on either fuel economy page but those are the only 2 places I've seen itAre you on the correct page to see 4 cylinder mode? I rarely see it but I only think it shows up on one of the two slightly different fuel economy information pages.
I'm sure both Jeeps are the same, I'll check mine again.Mine shows up on either fuel economy page but those are the only 2 places I've seen it
