Long time lurker, finally a joiner

Hello! I've been lurking around this site since I found it two years ago after purchasing my 'Sarge'. My dream vehicle was to find a 2013 10th anniversary Rubicon with red leather interior, but finding a low mileage example that hadn't been modified or living in a salty northern environment was near impossible. So when Jeep released a V8 option, I switched gears and sprung for the ultimate Wrangler. This is the dream car I never knew I wanted. Oh how sweet she sounds and is so much fun! The ultimate vehicle - Wrangler for off roading, convertible for fun in the sun and a muscle car to boot! So far the muscle car side of her personality has been dominating as she hasn't been off road yet.

Also joined to say thanks to the members who have contributed to the trove of information about the 392, as well as their experiences. I luv the pics submitted for the Jeep of the Month contests. You all rock!

I was the exact same on the 10th anniversaries… walked away from the order and spent years chasing one down to no avail (one that wasn’t overly modded or neglected) so when they announced to Anvil and Red combo for the 24’s, I had to jump!

I thought you had a HVY 392? Did you trade for the 24 Anvil?

There is a 24 Anvil at the local dealer that's kind of catching my eye....

Thanks. I did add a hood decal and love how it gives off a Shaker hood vibe..

Correct… currently have HVY but have an Anvil on order…

And love the hood decal. Would love to do the same for the look, but afraid to add to the engine heat with the Texas sun!
