I have had several PM's requesting information on the set of Borahs's I have for sale that I must have mentioned in a thread somewhere so I will put them here and can refer to this post.
Trim Rings have been on back order for months, I have had more people interested in the rings than the set of wheels.
AEV as most know is top shelf stuff, the have been building 392 Hemi Jeeps for over 10 years.
Dont worry about backspacing and offset, these guys are the ones that set the stage for the others to copy as they do real R&D not Billy Bob back door R&D (Ride and Destroy), AEV is the only company in US History that took a brand new vehicle off the assembly line, removed the engine and replaced it with a Hemi, lifted it, and much more and put it back on the dealers lot with a 3/36 warranty, able to finance and insure, and eventually ended up evolving in to what we all know as the 392 and the Gladiator.
So if you want some real wheels, hub centric, that are built to the right specs, check out AEV-Conversions.com
These wheels are like new, used for a different kind of R&D, have 1000-1500 miles on them max, not a scratch on them.
$1,250 and thats a steal
new they are $395 a piece with trim rings, plus freight, and tax.
if you don't like the trim rings you can sell them for $120 per and AEV has a bolt kit that fills in the holes. Actually looks good either way.
These are JL/JT Wheels, their holes are the right size for the bigger lug nut the newer Jeeps have. These are also made in the JK version to be careful, some have had no problems and others not so lucky. Depend on which axle width you have.
I ran these wheels alone, with 1.25 inch spacers up to 1.75 inch spacers. It was done so we could get a feeling of where we liked the offset to be with the various size tires.
I have the 1.25 inch spacers available for sale also for $125 for the set. If you buy the wheels you have a shot at the spacers but you wont need them with these wheels.
Wheels are located in Fort Lauderdale, FL
