Looking for guidance. My 392 non-XR will be running 37x12.5x17 KO2’s. Will a 2.5 lift absolutely prevent any rubbing or should I go 3.5?? It will be on the rocks not just the mall parking lot. Most likely Metalcloak. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks!

I was considering the TeraFlex 3.5" Sport ST3 Suspension System with 37", but haven't decided.
You may watch this video and give it a try with the bump stop landing pad idea before jumping to the lift:
This guy used the wheel spacer with 37" and it seems to be working too. But I can't speak about more serious off-roading due to lack of real experience.

You will destroy the value of your jeep if you take off the Mopar and put on a Metal Cloak. I would for sure do a spacer lift. Stay mainstream. Full lift AEV 2.5 will work but if it were me I would leave the lift and rip out the fenders and a very mild Teraflex spacer.

My Gladiator runs 40's with Mopar and the fenders ripped out.

Metal Cloak 3.5 inch lift raises the jeep 2 1/4 inches. You will need the front driveshaft also. You can find additional information about the driveshaft on the Metal Cloak website. I've had mine on for 9 months and it works great.

The MC 3.5 works well with 38’s too, plenty of articulation. Here with 38 x12.5 nitto ridge.

I hope you're joking. Those who actually off road view MC as one of the best as it's simply a better built, longer lasting, more capable suspension compared to stock/AEV.
