Has anyone upgraded their rotors/pads on their 392? I know APB makes a BBK but that might be more than I want to do.

Also, does anyone know if the XR has different brakes from the regular 392?

there allegedly is a brake booster on xr that isnt on other models

Im installing Teraflex Delta BBK this week and teraflex wheel spacers so it fits on stock 17" wheels.

Happy to report back how it goes.

Do you have an XR?

Do you need spacers with xr rims? They have less backspacing than regular rims .

Just looked it up. Looks like it does need a small spacer. Disregard.

The 392 already has the larger Gladiator brakes. Does APB or Teraflex have something larger that will clear the 17" wheels? I think the XR uses the same booster, but has an electric pump to help supply vacuum to the booster. I think.....

No just bolt on rotors and calipers
So I did some research. 44mm is the non-XR 392 stock wheel offset whereas the XR 392 offset is 12 for a difference of 32mm which is about 1.25" or the exact spacer I know a non-XR needs to clear at least the APB brakes. So just FYI you may not even need spacers... let me know!

Total Project will take weeks
Brakes a small part
Be back shortly

As you have an XR - can you get the part number off of your brake booster? I can then compare it to my non-XR 392. Would help to understand if it's actually different.

No idea where the brake booster is or what it is.

Spacers were needed and we custom made some brackets for the brake lines they were a little too tight

I’ll check mine and report back.
