KZ "Shipping" Status

Maybe we get ours at the same time.
Maybe. I understand the part/chip shortage, etc, etc; but the jeep has been finished and sitting in a lot or storage yard for 6-8 weeks......
Delivery is handled by drivers that are unionized. While they deal with truckers shortage , they refuse to let stellantis offer contracts to other trucking companies. I have a truck stuck 1 hour from the dealer for the past month. Stellantis or the dealer cant do anything

Exactly, that's why none of this makes any sense. Vehicles are built and just sitting in some lot. Seems so stupid.
So what's the solution to this?
None. You wait or say "screw it" and cancel your order. Nobody knows how long is going to take. The problem is the cars are not picked up 1st in 1st out. 1st in goes to the back of the lot and the new ones are ahead. The longer you spend there the longer you'll stay...does it make sense ?

When was your order placed?
IDK about OP, but my order was placed 11/1/21. Initial email from Jeep said completion around 1/28 (which I thought was pretty quick) and delivery to dealer by 3/3. Around 2/14, status went to KZS (completed, but ETA unavailable.) The unavailable was the part that I found frustrating. I have heard from the dealer that whatever problem caused this is being sorted out.

KZ L – released but not shipped
KZ M – first rail departure
KZ N – first rail arrival
KZ O - delayed/received
KZ OA – plant hold, quality audit
KZ OB - zone or dealer hold, sales hold, vehicle prep hold, tax hold, finance hold, dealer refusal, diversion hold, vehicle diverted, derailment hold
KZ OC – carrier delay hold, rail car shortage, bad load, insufficient load, inclement weather, need shipping order, manifest order, strike-bound hold, emission or safety hold
KZ OE – mis-dropped or mis-shipped vehicle
KZ OF – shipped air freight, stolen vehicle recovered, show vehicle test info code, vessel sailed
KZ OG – damaged vehicle, stolen vehicle, abandon to carrier, vehicle scrapped, donate vehicle, repair and auction
KZ OH – all other carrier codes that currently post an “O” delay code that are not included above
KZ R – vehicle with a few days of arrival to dealer Order Status Codes.doc
KZ S - shipping
KZ T – second rail departure

KZ Y1 – major damage – must not be sold as new
