In the last 30 minutes I turned in a Ram pickup my son had been driving to Carvana and put in an order for a 392 in Granite! Cant wait!

How long has the wait been?
over 4 months… some are lucky and it’s about 2. Others are in my boat, but seems average is about 3

I'm also in my 4th month since ordering, and expect that I may take delivery possibly in November. So set your expectations accordingly, and stay positive. It'll be totally worth it when that day arrives.

My order date was 7 weeks ago tomorrow and I expect to be waiting at least another 7-8 weeks. It’s brutal!
To set expectations, I am picking up my 392 this Saturday. Ordered on 6/4.

I checked with Jeep today and they gave me a VIN for my 392 that I ordered just a week ago. It has an "M" in the eight from last digit indicating a 2021 model year, which is what I ordered. I have read some people here though saying their orders that were submitted before mine are being changed to a 2022. Anyone else seeing this?

Maybe you’ll luck out? I’ve seen several posts on multiple forums stating their 21MY order was canceled and either changed to a 22 or they started over at the dealership (for a 22 order).

I dont want go to the back of the line and I want my granite color which apparently is not available in 22.
I ordered a 392 with the recon package on 7/1. The fleet manager and owner our friends of mine. I was hoping that would help. The last update I received from them was that the chip shortage is to blame and has only gotten worse. Not encouraging at all.

I hear you. I ordered my 392XR on 8/19 and other that receiving my VIN & VON I haven’t budged…still “gathering parts”
I’m not feeling very confident it’ll be built as a 21. My dealer said it would, but you know how that goes. I’m gonna be so pissed if they say ‘sorry’ at the 12 week mark.

Any idea how long an ordered Jeep will take to arrive at the dealer after ordered? Any ideas on how long for D status?
I was almost 8 weeks at D, but when it moved to D1, it was fairly quick after that.
There is no set time at D. It varies widely and seems to have no logic after reading the various forums. A lot of the timing is dependent on the supply chain, so the options you selected will be a factor.
For example, I ordered gorilla glass and had to wait until it was available.

Dealer contacted me last week saying expected ship date Nov 18. Yesterday I heard from them again saying expected ship date Nov 20. Just tonight I heard from Jeep saying expect it at dealer by Dec 17. I was not expecting to hear from Jeep directly.

Dealer texted today saying my Jeep was getting painted today!
