A couple weeks ago I sold my beloved Jaguar F-Pace SVR. It was going out of warranty and I know I was facing some major expenses with it.. So my search began and the road led to a 2022 392 XR. I've owned Jeeps since 2001 and still own a 2012 JKU Rubicon, though my youngest daughter has stolen and will not give it back to me!
I came across this forum when researching about the "Off-Road +" mode. What a difference! I might not have ever tried it on pavement, so I'm glad I read up on it on it here.
I drove the first couple of weeks in "normal", and while the sound was great, the performance was only adequate. I wasn't overly impressed. Probably a function coming from the SVR. But the off-road + is night and day and has recaptured the feeling and performance I missed. The remapping is the way it should be in "normal" mode.
I will gladly trade the inconvenience of having to hit the switch all the time compared to not having auto Start / Stop in this vehicle!
Love this jeep!
