For those who haven't seen yet, we lost a 392. Fortunately our brother is ok. It's on the jlwrangler forum.

He may have the rather unwanted distinction of being the first person ever to roll a 392.

I saw this also. That guy threw some serious money into aftermarket parts on that thing too. I wouldn't be surprised if he had an additional 20k in upgrades on it based on his posts in the JL Forum.

I wonder if that's covered under the warranty?? :ROFLMAO:

The other thing is that this happened on an off-shoot, not part of the marked trail. The insurance company is within their rights to consider this an off-roading accident. Hope for the best.

Interesting. I was under the impression that if you leave a marked road, your insurance no longer covers you.

According to his thread, the ins. co. is already covering it as a total loss not including his aftermarket parts. On my policies I have coverage for an additional 10% of the insured value available for accessories and loose items on all my vehicles at no additional cost. If I want more than that, I'd need to add a rider to the policy.

Several of my Jeeping buddies and I have had USAA for years and they cover the stupid stuff us Jeepers are prone to do like drive through water that is too deep and sieze the engine or roll over on an unmarked trail. True, we loose our accident free discount for five years but they do take care of us. (y)
