Jeep Connect WIFI Plus

Is there a good reason to subscribe to WIFI Plus? Do owners see value in paying $17.99 a month for the service? Any comments or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is going to depend on your needed application. I personally don't see the value in paying for my vehicle to have WiFi. I have other features I pay for separately that give remote start, tracking, etc. I don't need my Jeep to be a hotspot for any of my use cases. If I have cellular service, I'm using my phone as the hotspot if I need anything to connect to it. Remember too, paying for your rig to connect to WiFi doesn't create internet in a place where there's no connectivity.

I would log onto Connect.Jeep.com and review the subscription options and pick the ones that you need for your application.

I spend 30 bucks a month on Starlink for my Jeep. Beats any cellular based wifi options by a mile. Calls, texts, mapping data, even Netflix if you want. The only real limitations are steep, narrow canyons, and dense tree cover might make it drop out, but neither have been much of a problem for me. Otherwise, it works pretty much everywhere at super fast speeds.

Near the end of last year, they offered a special deal to those of us with the residential service to add a Starlink Mini at the 50gb roam level for $30 a month. I bought one for the 392 and a second for the Wife's Wagoneer.
