Jeep Chat COMPLETELY Useless

For the past two weeks Jeep chat has been telling me “all parts gathered now pending build date” with a estimated ship date of Sept 29. Today I was told I’m back to the scheduling phase pending parts to be gathered. I asked why the sudden change and was told they had no way of knowing

In all fairness, I ordered on Aug 19 so I knew this was a pie in the sky estimate based on most here have gone through. However, I’ve seen posts where people claim they received their order in one month, so
I was holding out hope. Why does Jeep chat even exist? It now seems completely bogus to me.

My dealer was pretty accurate when he said 9-12 weeks. Just go by that and forget Jeep chat. They told me it was "pending final inspection and awaiting a shipping date, which could take a few weeks due to shipping shortages" the day my dealer called and said it just arrived on a truck.

That’s good advice - thanks for that. I’m not going to bother with chat anymore. I checked with my dealer earlier and she said as of right now I’m scheduled for an early Nov build (according to their factory rep) and a late Nov delivery. She said it typically takes about three weeks to ship from the factory via rail. That seems nuts to me but honestly I know nothing about that.

Yes, Jeep Chat i pretty useless. I think we all feel your frustration. Looks like my time from order to delivery will be 16 weeks. Some are shorter and others are longer.
