Hello all. Glad to finally have my 392. So much fun! I have a 79 CJ-7 Renegade with the 304 V-8 and have waited all these years for the return of a V-8 in the Jeep. And man was it worth the wait! Early on during the 392 press releases an videos, I thought I remember the center display in the Jeep 392 displayed a 392 graphic. Would have really been cool but I guess it was only for show. Any thoughts?

Mine may have it.. I don’t know? Because when I push the button… my ears are so intently focused that my eyesight goes dim and all I hear is the glorious resonating rumble of the 392 and…

Congrats and welcome! Would be nice to see a differentiator. They do for the others versus Rubicon. Don’t think it would’ve been too difficult

I have looked back at some of the promo videos and really thought I had seen a 392 logo displayed. Would have been a very nice touch. Something for the aftermarket guys or accessory department I guess. Thanks for the reply.

I thought I read somewhere the newer 392’s have the updated startup display. Can anyone confirm? I have a 21 XR that was delivered in late Jan and it has the old/standard display.

Probably just 22 models. Mine was a very late 21 with no 392 screen. No other difference I know of between 21-22.

I wonder if this would be a simple software update? No biggie but I wouldn’t mind having the 392 startup display.

Have seen Tazer may be coming up with a graphic for us "old" 392's
