Have been finishing up the touches on my wife's 392 and felt I should proceed with the last suspension update other than the Bilstein 8100 which have changed this truck dramatically, I just installed the extended Mopar lower control arms in an effort to make the truck closer to what I believe Jeep should have produced from the factory! Although I doubt I'll feel any difference as my wife's Jeep drives so perfect it's like being in a g wagon, I just feel like I'm getting closer to making it the way it should be, I have already used the no limits to get rid of the MDS and I've used the AEV snapcal to change the TPMS threshold so now driving is an absolute pleasure with no more interference from MDS and barely noticing a drone as I don't constantly hear it dropping into four cylinder we are very very happy with the way this truck turned out and I honestly think if Jeep had produced what we have been able to do with the truck on our own many many people would be more than happy with the result! Also I haven't seen any reduction in gas mileage due to the MDS dropping in and out and it does appear that the no limits has improved the responsiveness and overall power than the Jeep had before!

Love hearing that. MDS's purpose doesn't serve the majority of the audience that will be buying and driving this rig.

Did you go with the adjustable 8100's or the non adjustable remote reservoir?

It's like being reborn without that crap mds!!! I'm currently with my wife drive out to the winery's in Long island and it another windy day yet we still pulled off 18 mpg so MDS kiss my ass! Not to mention I haven't heard the drone once because I haven't come to many stops!

The title here is "Installed Mopar Extended LCA" but no conversation on what you think of that. You said you installed them but no feedback. Then you sent it off the rails by mentioning MDS. I would like to hear what you think of the LCA changes, thats why I clicked here.

Wow, Chill out baba Louie!
Today was the first time since the install that I had a chance to actually drive it if you actually read my entire post I'm sure I mentioned I doubt I would honestly notice any real difference considering my wife's truck is as solid as a g wagon the main reason I actually changed them as as you know we can never achieve the proper caster with the lift that our truck have, by not achieving proper caster our toe causes issues with tire wear! I rotate my tires every 3,000 miles to have them wear as efficiently as possible I am hoping being able to achieve Castor in the mid-fives will help alleviate the problem with my tires. as far as how the truck drives, it drove perfect before the arms it drives perfect after the arms and please understand here in New York for the past 3 days the wind has been blowing like crazy it would actually be hard to tell if there was an improvement considering what I've been dealing with weather wise!
I owned a Dunlop repair shop in flushing for over a decade and have had many jeeps over that time but as we know there is only so much you can do to a straight axle front suspension as you start to lift them! My adding the Mopar lca's was just correcting an oversite by Jeep to address these ever growing caster issues as they start to raise our jeeps as high as they are! Not to mention we can actually use more then the .25 increase in length they provide but something is better then nothing and my dealer continues to warranty
The truck as long as it's Mopar parts!

Did you measure the length of each the old and new control arms.

Control arm length is almost identical! The bushing bolt position is .25 longer!
