I live in south Florida, and I know it’s “supposed” to be hot in June. And the heat and humidity has not disappointed. In the 90’s but feels in the 100’s. Thick and humid. My poor 392 is in the garage melting. What’s it like where you live?

Been watching the housing market from Boerne to San Marcos (pretty much anything north-ish SA) for the last almost 3 years. Hope to be neighbors with y'all someday soon, but probably not for another few years if I'm being realistic with work and all. Just dreaming about paying the same for a nice house on 2 acres as I currently pay for my 1000 sq feet at the beach at the moment... haha.I'm neighbors with Yukon (fully agree) and I wish we could get a little Yukon air down here. Awful hot and humid. Jeep definitely cools down faster than my '06 GMC 1500 truck. What shop did you use for tint @YukonCornelius?
We are neighbors, I am in SW Austin. Who did you use for your ceramic tint? My 392 is being delivered to my house today!Tomorrow is supposed to be 106… thought the dead pedal was the best first “add” but it was the ceramic tint all the way around. It’s not an oven inside now. It’ll be as hot as the outside of course, but not an oven.
Thankfully, Jeeps have the fastest AC cooldown on the planet!
I used to like you...It's 69 and sunny up here in the Buckeye state. But it's going to be windy today because Michigan sucks and Penn State blows.
Some reasons I stay in Florida in the summer:It’s interesting to see the differences in temperature across the country. Right now in south Florida it’s 7:45am and 82 degrees. ugh. Four or five more months of this. Thats why retired Floridians go north in the summer.
Your second point is spot on. Recently I have found myself without proper clothes when traveling because I always assume all I need is shorts and a shirt. Some reasons I stay in Florida in the summer:
- Fewer Snowbirds to clog up the roads and restaurants.....and the Golf Courses.
- Your can leave your house in shirt, shorts and flip flops without regard to the weather forecast, day or night.
- It’s a mellower vibe overall with warm weather and less people.
Maybe I’ve adapted well after moving here from Colorado....I do miss the mountains, but I remember really hot days in Colorado when I would say to myself, “It’s also hot in Florida, but I could be sitting on the beach right now.”
