I've been looking for videos or articles explaining how the Hydro Guide on the hood works. Every one just mentions it can separate up to 15 gal per minute. Beyond having more than those 15 gal going in at less than a minute, is there any other risk of water entering the engine? Seems to be all mechanical physics.

Thanks for the link. I wish that video provided more details. Just my curiosity. The engineers did some massive testing with this hydro guide I'm sure. They don't want people suing them for water in engines. The computer animation is not clear enough. They probably did that on purpose.

You'll have to post the first YouTube video of you testing it out in a river or huge water puddle lol...I might accidentally test it out when we go to the off roading part of the obx each yr...never know what the rain or ocean left puddle wise on the sand roads near the beach houses lol
