Half doors the wrong color

More of an FYI versus needing help but I went out of state for the order and took delivery last week. The jeep was packed with the half doors, mats, packing material to prevent damage, etc. so I didn't want to unpack everything for fear i wouldn't get it all back in (took a train down to pick it up).

Well, I went on vacation and just opened the boxes when I returned and what do you know, sting-gray half doors instead of white. I told you so (check everything) doesn't even come close as i had my full list with me but if you saw the back of the jeep you wouldn't have unpacked everything either.

I assume it was a stelantis thing and not the dealer, waiting to hear back on how they will resolve. I will post back. I'm hoping it is as easy as tracking down who got the white ones and shipping but who knows.

I ordered the 1941 graphic, and I’m worried it will be missing on my half doors.

When half doors are ordered the Jeep is sent to a different facility to pack the half doors. The half doors are supplied by a third party vendor. I can understand the wrong color match, pretty sure that will get taken care of. Maybe they will let you keep the sting grey ones?

I doubt very much the graphic will be on the half doors.

Quite a long thread, but the end result was his doors were found in another Jeep and he had their doors.

Dealership made it right apparently.

Someone a while back posted that it wasn't on theirs. They were treating it as an oversight, but now knowing that the half doors are fulfilled elsewhere, it's not surprising.

I believe it's relatively rare to get the half doors and the graphic as options. It will look pretty wonky without the graphic there though. I'm pretty sure you can get that graphic aftermarket, so I'll just do that for the half doors. I may even bring it up to my dealer when it gets closer to delivery to see if it's something they could do at the dealership.

Man, if we can find that vendor for the half doors and work out something on the side (for those of us who really wish we had ordered them), that'd be super neat. Probably not in the cards, but it'd be neat!

The dealer i purchased from (200+ miles away) is working with Jeep. They asked for the dealer i will be servicing with locally to organize a swap so it looks like i will be all set! Just a matter of time.

For kicks i did the online build and it allowed me to select both the stripe and the half doors. The picture even updated to show the half doors with the stripe so i guess it would be an oversight if it wasn't there.
