Wheres your winch rope?Greetings from sunny Southern Arizona at 74 degrees with 14% humidity, 4:28 PM. I'm liking the fender flare extnsions... Looking forward to receiving my set that are still back ordered.View attachment 2560
It's synthetic so I have the end of it locked up to a point on the driver's side frame next to the winch to keep it from being stollen given that the Warn winch can be easily free spooled even with the control handle removed. The 'attachments' to put it to use when needed are in the itty-bitty storage compartment under the back floor of the Jeep.Wheres your winch rope?
So do you just have the small metal hoop on the rope and that fits through the fairlead? It's synthetic so I have the end of it locked up to a point on the driver's side frame next to the winch to keep it from being stollen given that the Warn winch can be easily free spooled even with the control handle removed. Roger... it is easy to remove the padlock and then push the end of the rope through the fairlead and attach the hook, clevis or what ever is needed to the accomplish the job. So much neater looking also rather than having a winch hook attached to a tow hook for storage. So do you just have the small metal hoop on the rope and that fits through the fairlead?
Those wheels!Greetings from sunny Southern Arizona at 74 degrees with 14% humidity, 4:28 PM. I'm liking the fender flare extnsions... Looking forward to receiving my set that are still back ordered.View attachment 2560
Thank you! Hutchinson RockMonsters.Those wheels!
Thank you! Hutchinson RockMonsters.
I looked into them…a little heavy but a game changer as an alternative to beadlocks and DOT approved…Thank you! Hutchinson RockMonsters.
The wheels with 37s installed weigh over 100 pounds each. When it comes time to replace the tires it is pricy labor wise and difficult to find a shop that will deal with these wheels. Most shops that do heavy truck tires can usually handle them. Been running a set on my 05 LJR since 2008 and broke them down by hand only once to put new rubber on and it took me about an hour per tire, been taking them to a shop ever since. Putting them together is relatively easy, just got to make sure that the valve stem lines up with one of the two slots on the inner side of the rubber bead lock ring.I looked into them…a little heavy but a game changer as an alternative to beadlocks and DOT approved…View attachment 2594
Not lining up the stem sounds like something I would do….still a sweet set up….The wheels with 37s installed weigh over 100 pounds each. So where did you get or how did you create the black and gold warn emblem? Looks awesome!Greetings from sunny Southern Arizona at 74 degrees with 14% humidity, 4:28 PM. I'm liking the fender flare extnsions... Looking forward to receiving my set that are still back ordered.View attachment 2560
Thank you. Underground Graphics made them for me based on the sizes of original Warn logos off the winch that I sent them and I'm pretty sure they still have the file to print/make more. I got two sets for about $45 which included the graphics set-up. https://www.undergroundgraphics.comSo where did you get or how did you create the black and gold warn emblem? Looks awesome!
