Gold Color Match

Just sharing the closest I have found so far. I hit the plates with two coats of paint and two coats of matte clear. Not exact but pretty close.

Wanted to provide a quick update to this. Finally got around to installing a winch (will post that pita later). Used this color to try and match winch hook to factory recovery hooks. This does NOT match - not even close. Now for the side steps, it does match the gold in the jeep emblem and rubicon decal closer. Saw by doing a google search, someone said rustoleum champagne bronze is close. Will give this a try and report back.

I painted these foot pegs. After 2 coats of the gold it didn’t really look that good but after the clear coats I think they are pretty close.

Apologies for the delay in updating. Turned out much better.

Update to the update: forgot to mention that it definitely matters which clear coat you go with (matte, satin, gloss). The hook in this picture is with the satin clear coat.
