Curious as to what you’re planning to get powder coated.Has anyone found a correct paint/powder coat match for the gold/bronze trim? Trying to get some items powder coated to match.
For me, I'm actually trying to help Maximus-3 find the proper color so they can paint their winch hook. FYI, I've also purchased some gold/bronze d-rings off of Amazon (HOPING they will match) but if not, then I'll use the same powdercoat to better match those.Has anyone found a correct paint/powder coat match for the gold/bronze trim? I used this to paint some foot pegs, And I just finished painting the emblem on my RSE steps but don’t have them reinstalled yet. I’ll send a pic when they are on. 2 coats of the gold look ok but the clear coat brought it right in line. For me, I'm actually trying to help Maximus-3 find the proper color so they can paint their winch hook. I have RSE steps on order. (Gen 3 seam to be backordered.) It’s the stainless RSE emblem on the front of the sliders. It’s in line visually with the Jeep Emblems on the side of the Jeep. I’m too OCD to have silver under gold. I may add some red backing to the emblem since my Jeep is red. I’ll post pics of after, I’ll add one here of beforeI have RSE steps on order. (Gen 3 seam to be backordered.) Custom from Burnt Customs. I painted them the gold first then lightly taped the gold a few days later and black painted the rest, then clear coatFoot pegs
The black armor and door hinge step really look great with the white body. I’d like to see a full picture to admire this beauty.Rust oleum metallic champagne bronze is a close match to the OEM bronze accent color. See pinch seam. View attachment 4231
Can’t seem to locate the color from TCI website. Can you locate it for me?I recently found out that a company by the name of TCI Powdercoat does the tow hooks for Jeep. The color is Desert Bronze FYI.
It’s not on their website and although I got an initial response emailing them they never would get back to me. It’s not on website. Can’t seem to locate the color from TCI website. Can you locate it for me?
