Found: Sarge half doors

Looking for the high end half doors with mirrors, blind spot monitoring, proximity entry in Sarge Color. Willing to pay $6000 (including delivery arrangements). Located in southern Mississippi.

I am certainly no authority on this, but would you be able to get all the parts and build your own? It certainly might be a hassle, but could work if someone would really want them.

I can't find the uppers anywhere on an initial search, but they have to be available somewhere since they're the part that will get damaged/need to be replaced if anything.

I saw someone on Facebook thinking of paying $8G for them yesterday and he had a matching 392 to mine (granite). That would nearly double my cost but I don't think I will sell.

Is it difficult to get the proximity and all that stuff working if you would build from parts?

Again, I'm not an expert on this. I have halfs ordered on my 392 so I obviously haven't gotten them yet and am not too familiar with how they work other than watching a youtube video or two.

I have a YJ (profile pic) and TJ with half doors. I wouldn't do without 'em. They are a totally different driving experience.

I think I can piece the doors together from the mopar catalog, but would end up with at least 6k before painting. I've seen them for 8k on ebay, just not willing to pay that much.

May just end up getting some aftermarket half doors and save $$$, or maybe I'll get lucky and find someone willing to sell...........

Noob question but is having half doors really $8K better than just rolling down the windows? I didn't order them and am wondering what I'm missing.

It is to me. It's a $4395 option from factory, but due to the relative difficulty of getting them aftermarket, people are upcharging that much (8k).

I don't know how to explain it, but at least in my YJ and TJ when you're driving down the road, without the door frame there, you get a better peripheral vision of the road which gives your mind a sense of it being more open. I personally love it. It might not be 4 or 8k worth it to someone else though.

Here's a rough pic of how much of the door/window frame is gone (maybe a bit less of it is gone, I should have drawn the line on the top side of the side mirror). It really makes a difference (to me at least).

I'm getting mine in Sarge Green and depending on when I take delivery, I may never even use them. I'll likely be going for whatever they offer in 2023 (20th A rubi or last hemi hurrah...whatever it is) and would be trading in my 22. If I don't get delivery until Fall, they may never be on my jeep. At that point, I'd probably sell them at basically factory cost. I'll have to see what happens though...my dealer may want me to give them back with the deal since they're listed as an option on the build and the jeep will still be relatively new.

I have not gotten my 392 yet, but it is Sarge Green with the half doors.
If I turn around and order a 23, I may sell them, if you are still interested.

I, too, am interested to see what 2023 brings.. If it is much of an upgrade, I might trade mine in like some of y'all are thinking about. I figure 23 will almost certainly be the last year for the 392.

AHH I want these so bad. But until I have my hands on my jeep (which should ship any minute now) I can't quite justify it. I'll even be out in TX in my 392 in relative short time. Shucks. Good luck with sale, I'm sure someone will jump on these, and if they don't, there's always me!

By the way, are these with premium uppers? (Do they all come with premium uppers? Or no?)
