I like the part about the G63 vibes. I love the G63, but they are price prohibitive (especially the way I would spec it). Never driven a G63, but I get the idea, the 392 does make you feel like an absolute boss on the road. My daughter and wife concur with this from their driving experience. You are up higher than most cars. You are louder (if you want to be), faster (if you so choose), and capable of performing feats that other vehicles cant (driving over curbs, ditches, medians, etc).

I've had mine for 2 months and still just stoked. Never had a vehicle I enjoyed this much. I love how it can change character with the push of some buttons. Can drive around town very quietly, then turn performance exhaust on, offroad + and sound like a race car on the streets. Sounds cool using engine compression braking in manual mode too..

Can't tell you how many times my daughters have said, "Yeah......that was necessary....." after I've popped the exhaust or otherwise made some racket in town..........or "Did you really need to do that?" "Daddy, that is so extra." "Oh, so we're being extra "extra" today"

Nice find! thanks for posting!!

Yup. It is the working man's G Wagon. Exactly why I'm getting it. It is a practical urban bruiser. Does everything I've wanted in a truck from looks, practicality, and performance.

All Jeep needs to do is offer a lux package to spruce up the interior a bit more and I guarantee they'd siphon off a lot of x5, x7, Land Rover, ML buyers....

One issue I've had with modern SUVs is that the lost the "truckness".... they basically become jacked up station wagons. They look too appliance like. What makes the G Wagon so successful is the aesthetic of utilitarian truck. Jeep offers the same aesthetic at less than half the price.

I like the G63, but the high price, super luxurious interior, and high tech all defeat the purpose of a G63. JEEP 392 is a true off-road vehicle. I don't see the German army driving G63!

I come from a long history of AMGs and I never could stand the look of the G-Wagons.

I've test driven a new G63 and even tried to look into buying one. They wanted $50k over and $50k down. It just wasn't meant to be. Nice vehicles but maybe not worth $250k-300k including mark-up. Rubicon 392 is a great alternative option.

Here is another good one. Has the "If you peaked in high school......." comment. If you peaked in high school you need a 392. It will change your life :).
