Silly Us! It's an OPTION! :ROFLMAO:

(seriously... Jeep actually lists it in the options list!)

Yeah but “Easy Order” is also an option and yours hasn’t been easy.
Any update @YukonCornelius on your order?
I was in Toledo last weekend and almost stopped by the Factory to tell them to build yours ASAP.

Wish you would’ve!! I would have paid a premium to see it! 🤣

But I have to be close to start of production. Jeep chat is back to replying “it HAS been scheduled and build process will start soon.” And per regional, whatever held it up from April 1st run start has been sorted out. So, hopefully any day now I hear it’s actually being built!

***edit*** UPDATE BELOW!

I actually found it in Crypto today AND on Jeep.com!

Congratulations on breaking the D1 barrier! The next steps will go bye really fast, while at the same time agonizingly slowly. I've been watching your order to see when it would start, largely because you've been so supportive of all of the rest of us. It's your turn. You deserve it!

Thanks @RoninGo ! Literally had a “come to Jesus “ meeting with the dealer GM and the Texas Regional last week because I was so frustrated coming up on 7 months without a word from Jeep… just about to walk then BOOM!

And it was all the great folks here on this forum that saw it first! Saved at the last minute by the great 392 community!

It started production only 3 days ago, so it takes a little longer than that to take delivery.

Actual production takes about a week. Then it goes to the Body Vendor (JB status) for adding items like the rock rails, HD tire carrier, etc. Mine took 9 days to complete that stage.
Then it goes to KZ, transport staging, eventually to be put on a train, if your dealership is more than 200 miles from Toledo. The train ride can take up to a month or even longer, depending on distance, and how many different rail carriers are used to get to the destination.
Expect a week for transport from the railhead to the dealership, as car carriers need to be scheduled.

I received mine in California 32 days after it got out of JB. This included transport from the dealership in NC to my house. Your mileage may vary.

Right now with the shipping computer system in complete disarray, you want to avoid shipping right now. All Jeeps in transit are MIA basically. No one has any idea where and when they will show up.

Good grief! What a mess. Mine today is ready to ship. Dealer is saying 2-5 weeks.

Do you have any links for more information on this disarray that you're referring to?

Great thank you so much

So once mine got to shipping, I got emails from jeep saying it had shipped and it had a very broad range of arrival dates, like a 4 or 6 week window. I kept getting emails and the window got narrower and narrower and then down to a 2 day window and it arrived at dealer on the first day of that 2 day window which was pretty close to the middle of the original 4 week window. Seemed like things happened fast after getting build sheet........

But it does kind of seem like it disappears once it gets shipped, because no one seems to have any idea where it is.

Light at the end of the tunnel! Happy for you and I hope it is just like you like it.
