Fog Lights On in Auto During Daytime

I have the Tazer installed and ran through all the features.
I Like keeping my lights in the auto position but noticed today during a sunny day I cant engage my fog lights by pressing the fog light button during the daytime in auto.

I have 2 LP6 with the back light wired to the fogs, so i wanted everything to be able to turn on when i press the button.

Can Fog lights be engaged in the Auto position during the daytime?

Have not tried this Jeep but in every vehicle I have ever owned the fog lights will only activate with parking lights or headlights on. DRL's dont count.
