Picked up a 392 on Monday.
327 miles on the clock. Noticed some fluids on the floor, crawl underneath the see the purple ish fluid on/around oil filter. I think it’s radiator fluid based on the color-anyone else dealt with this (I tried several searches on the forum for radiator fluid/fluid leak, etc. and no results)
is that enough to be concerned about?

Try searching in "392 problems" Sept 2, 2021....I had a similar problem....it turned out to be a unseated O-ring behind the water pump, below the alternator....not sure if that's in the same area that your having a leak....but fluid does travel...

Thank you for pointing me to that post. Looks similar. I am definately no mechanic, but looks like a connection between two hose. Pics were taken front engine/top down. Like yours beneath alternator, but bottom end/front water pump. Will get it in. 239 miles.

I had a coolant line bust at 17,000 while on the interstate. Left me on the side of the road in South Carolina trying to fix it. After 2 hours I got a junkyard hose to work for my roadside repair. Anyone else have their coolant line explode?

Coincidentally, just Picked mine up an hour ago. Your breakage makes me want to buy an extra hose that broke on yours.

I know right. The jeep has been fine all 17,000 miles. I take it on one long road trip and it fucked me good. Burned myself a couple of times trying to fix it (no room to work on the engine) and I wasn’t about to stay in South Carolina. I fixed it and it drove the last 5 hours to Florida. I can’t decide If I want to upgrade the lines or trade it in on a TRX once the warranty is up.

I know this is an old thread, but I just had a similar issue. Have you had any issues since?

Mine as well gushed coolant all over my garage floor. Mine looks to be coming from the coolant tank.

Damn that sucks…. I think mines coming from the tank and one of the hoses. There’s coolant all over the engine bay. Engine over heated 3 times. Just dropped it off at the dealer this mornin.

Anyone know what coolant is approved for the 392
