I am trying to find a suitable fire extinguisher and mount that will attach to the right rear slanted roll bar without damaging the paint. All of the advertisements for mounts show them attached to what appear to be round roll bars, some covered; however, on my 392, the rear slanted rool bar is a 10.5” (circumference) body colored/plastic rectangle. If anyone has found the perfect fire extinguisher and mount for this location, or perhaps a better location, please speak up.

I have two of These. I don't know if they will work. Lol. Hope I never have to find out.

I bought a Poison Spider 57-62-110 from quadratec. I like the look and it holds snug.

Been looking for one as well, not very excited about velcro straps. Saw this on the web as a possibility

I ordered this mounting bracket and modified it to fit a different sized fire extinguisher that did not have the same pre-formed hole pattern. The mounting bracket hovers about 3/16” above the roll bar, which gave me some room for the large 10-32 nuts; however, to increase the gap between the nuts and the rollbar, I used a flat-bottomed counterbore to recess the nuts half the depth of the mounting bracket. This is a really sturdy mounting bracket at a great price, IMO. I’m going to order one for the other rool bar as soon as I figure out what I need to mount there.

I ordered the adventure lab one but didn’t like the look of it with the small panel removed. So I modified the panel with a moto tool files tape and patience. It came out really nice

Here’s the solution I came up with for the fire extinguisher mount, some angle aluminum cut to size and painted.
