Just wanted to make a quick mention on financing for the 392. Before I took delivery of my 392 a couple of weeks ago, I received an email from Bank of America regarding low interest rates. I thought, what the hell, and clicked on the link which directed me to their online credit application. Long story short, I got 2.19% for 60 months which is a phenomenal savings over the life of the loan versus what Jeep dealerships offer. I'm sure a lot of you already do this but just wanted to make mention to those who normally rely on the dealership for financing.

I was instantly approved online. From there, you call BOA with your approval code and speak directly to someone in their car finance division. They verify some key data points and prepare the letter that you take to the dealership. From there, you give the dealership your letter and verify your SS# and you're done. There's absolutely no reason to fill out a credit application all over again at the dealership. If they tell you it's required, politely tell them no thanks because you already have financing.

That's really good! I always suggest checking with a local credit union as well. Austin Telco always seem to have the best rates in my area.

I agree. Last time I checked, when I placed my order at the beginning of April, lowest rate at my credit union was 2.19% for 60 mos up to $100K. I will check later to see if they have changed.

They give you an ETA on your April order yet?

No update. Still in BX status. No build sheet or window sticker. You?

Have you added yourself to this list?

Now, back to the financing topic. Lol. Sorry to hijack.

For those of you that have served in the military, check out the rates at USAA.com for their auto loans. 2.19% for 60 months up to 3.69 for 84 months with various rates in between. Down payment only required if the cost of the vehicle is higher than the value for the VIN you provide. My VIN is valued at $89K even though the sticker price is $81.9K so no down payment and I added/included TTL & extended warranty on on top of that.

Rates haven't changed at my credit union.
