Just wanted to make a quick mention on financing for the 392. Before I took delivery of my 392 a couple of weeks ago, I received an email from Bank of America regarding low interest rates. I thought, what the hell, and clicked on the link which directed me to their online credit application. Long story short, I got 2.19% for 60 months which is a phenomenal savings over the life of the loan versus what Jeep dealerships offer. I'm sure a lot of you already do this but just wanted to make mention to those who normally rely on the dealership for financing.
I was instantly approved online. From there, you call BOA with your approval code and speak directly to someone in their car finance division. They verify some key data points and prepare the letter that you take to the dealership. From there, you give the dealership your letter and verify your SS# and you're done. There's absolutely no reason to fill out a credit application all over again at the dealership. If they tell you it's required, politely tell them no thanks because you already have financing.
