Still haven’t been given a date, but I finally moved in status and this time it wasn’t back to “C” or “BE”!
Finally got a D1 !
It’s been a long, long road 15 months in the making.

If anyone needs to waste some time, here it is for your enjoyment, or disdain :ROFLMAO:

And all could have been avoided with honesty (and less greed) by the dealerships... amazing.
Whats the build info on it?

Sting Grey and when it became a ‘22 model, I was able to add XR. Towing, cargo rails, etc. The usual, less the half doors.

That is insane! Sounds like Stelantis subbed out to the Ford Bronco line to make this one 392 Jeep….

Crazy long wait, but hey congrats you made it to D1! Did you get an email from Jeep or the dealership notified you about the status change?

Congrats on the progress. I was notified yesterday by my dealer that due to a "glitch" in the system most 392 orders Moved to "C" status this week. Ugh!!

Ugh! I feel for you, bro! 😫😫

No - I nag the dealership every week or so, so my salesman thought he'd stave off the weekly call and called me with the good news instead!

I always think the dealers are giving more than optimistic predictions because they dont want those of us who have one on order to get frustrated and buy one off the lot somewhere else.

Inflated sense of joy.... deflated :(

JK! I'm hoping that's not the case - but I redid the order on Oct 8th as the first day of 22's opened, and we're starting to see som of the 22's with the XR finally change status so I'm hopeful! And after over a year of waiting, I need this!

With your 1 year of patience, is your middle name "Job" in the biblical sense!!? I cannot imagine that level of frustration as I am just 3 months in.......

It has been tough - more so since last summer. From intial order in November of '20 I knew it would be a wait until spring at the earliest. But when folks started getting theirs and my dealer was silent, the frustration started making my blood boil! Hasn't tempered since...

I think what is frustrating is that orders / deliveries appear to be very random. You have no way of knowing where you are in the queue or if there is anything in particular holding up your order.

I am not really expecting mine until April or May but we will see....

Same feeling here. All the 2022 392 orders filtered on https://cryptostickers.net/Default.html?scope=all doesn't imply any easy logic... some orders placed later dates have build and sticker found while the earlier orders has nothing.

Saw the same thing on Crypto, as well as listening in here and other forums. No rhyme or reason and very, very frustrating.

@YukonCornelius Glad to hear of the progression in your build....finally. I hope you find the wait was worth it. Had I been in your position I probably would have cancelled my order and done a hemi swap into my JK. Then regretted that decision once I drove the 392.

Yup... priority 01.

Original one, after months of me asking about it, turns out the GM decided to sell it as inventory with $20k markup without telling me.

done a hemi swap into my JK
Thought about that - by a JLUR and send it to AEV. But then I was in the same $100k plus, so decided the factory 392 was definitely the way to go!
