Has anyone else had issues with the Falcon shocks (3.3 fast adjust ones) in the cold? I too ka trip to the upper elevations of the Bighorn Mountains a few weeks back, and since my rear shocks seem shot. I have almost no compression dampening, although I think there is some rebound dampening happening. The only thing I can figure is that it was super cold and maybe that affected them or allowed the seals to leak?

To be fair, I have not put it on the lift to look under it yet. Moving the adjustment to the stiff setting helped a little, but they are not right.

I'm not sure what the warranty is on those, but I'm never keen to replace a failed part with the exact same part.

I’m not familiar with the inner workings of this shock… but is it possible they don’t have nitrogen in them?

They have only been installed since June. They come pre-charged, so if they need nitrogen at this point they have failed somehow.

Not necessarily if they have schrader valves. I had a King that was low. I refilled it a few years ago and it’s held up just fine. I suspect it had a loose valve stem.

Those shocks have 2 setting on the shaft. Cold and sport. In the cold you should extend the shock completely. Turn the shaft 360 counterclockwise and reinstall. It should say this on the shock.
I had one loose charge. If the shock losses charge the adjusting red dial pops out and it becomes easy to turn
/adjust.

I believe they carry a 3 year warranty. Teraflex sent me a rebuilt one. Over 2 years old.

I live in Wyoming. I set them to the cold. setting when I installed them in June.

Warranty is one year, and although I only installed them in June, I bought then in November..... bummer.

I put it on the lift today. No leaking oil, and my red knobs are fine, and stiff to turn. Loosing charge was kind of my guess, but both at the same time?
