Well.....I thought the exhaust would take a hit from a trail, little did I know someone would decide to rear-end me at 40mph while stopped at red light. The Jeep took the hit well. No frame damage but the bumper, bumper mounts and exhaust are all trashed. His small sedan totaled (all airbags in his deployed). The collision shop has been able to get all parts except the exhaust. It is the muffler and tips and baffles. I can not find any part numbers on these. Can any of you get me the part numbers or direct me to a site with them. They can pull the pipes out of the muffler (pushed in about 4 inches) as a temporary fix until one shows up.

Glad you are ok, sorry about the Jeep.♥️✌🏼

Can someone post a picture of the backside of the muffler where the pipes enter? I am having issues with my insurance company claiming my exhaust is fine and not damaged. Here are some pics of mine it sure looks pushed in and with a horizontal crease as well. I can not find any pics of one online. Also if anyone has part numbers for the muffler and tips I'd appreciate them also. I can not find part numbers anywhere.

thanks those will help a lot. And if anyone is wondering the muffler and tips priced out at 2700.00. I think when I get it back the exhaust skid plate is a must.

So ridiculous! I can’t wait for someone like Borla to come out with a much better aftermarket option. Oh, and those aren’t even exhaust tips…they’re bent sections exhaust pipe held onto the muffler with freakin’ c-clamps.

It's the muffler. The tips by themselves are about 600.00 a set to purchase. Just found out the idiot at the collision shop forgot to include the tips and I need both left ones.

That is insane. Glad Borla (have used them in the past with much respect) is providing a "Plan B". I am looking into a muffler skid, but the tips look very vulnerable to dropping off rock steps. Next Venture has an answer for this (part of their belly skid pkg) but the skids keep cutting into the available clearance. No perfect answers.

I think the metal cloak skid plate is available separate also.

Update on this exhaust. Finally, after about 8mos the exhaust came in. The repair shop I've dealt with is downright a horrible company (I picked them because they are FCA/Stellantis certified). Got the car back and I'm out of town my daughter sent me pictures. Of course, the new exhaust has a dent in it, but then I noticed that the old one the seam is on the bottom. Is it possible they could install it upside down? Mine is a 2021 it would seem odd that Jeep would have already redesigned the exhaust. I've attached before and after (before has bent tip on drivers side). I'm not sure what the pipe attachment at front looks like angled, straight etc or if it would allow it to be flipped 180. I'm out of town for a month so can't look.

Can any of you tell me if yours looks like the new one i.e. no seam on bottom?

Mine is 22 MY, has no seam at bottom bent, just like your new one.
