According to Mopar "The damn engine block heater cord is routed under the hood on the driver side of the vehicle. It has a removable cap that is located near the damn air box."I’ve looked all over this damn Jeep and can’t find the block heater cord. Anyone know where the hell it is??
Thanks. I even had my usual build mechanics look at it and they were dumbfounded. I didn’t bother to have the dealership mechanics give me a walk around because I erroneously figured I already knew what I needed to know. That assumption did as assumption do, made an ass out of u and mption.According to Mopar "The damn engine block heater cord is routed under the hood on the driver side of the vehicle. As a follow up, I searched and searched where you said to look. No bueno. The 3.6 had the block heater cord there, but I can’t find it on the 392. I’ll have to have Chrysler show me where it is. It’s on the maroney (window sticker), but I’m beginning to wonder if it’s installed on the Jeep. I’ve never bothered with a block heater before even though I live where it gets to -20 in the winter and never had an issue, but want to be a bit more kind to my pretty 392 hemi.According to Mopar "The damn engine block heater cord is routed under the hood on the driver side of the vehicle. Well at least you found it. Where i live if it gets below 20, people wouldn't even leave the house, so no block heater needed!Okay, finally found it. It is by the air box, but it’s almost underneath it, by the engine. Just hanging, not the best way to stow it.
