One other thing I failed to mention. He's still running the stock 373 gears that came in the Wrangler. A 24 with 456 gears on the 38 inch tires would be faster. If you have an earlier model 392 with the 373 gears and want to jump on a 24 or newer.............. DO NOT TRY IT! Unless of course you regear.............Now That's Entertainment. You are absolutely correct. If you want to really get the most from the 392 and want it to live a long life while doing it.I say send it to Tom's 4x4 Superstore.... replace cam, pistons & rods (forged) so engine will handle boost. Long tube headers. Then add Magnuson supercharger with smaller than stock pulley and run 12psi to 16 psi, ... or whatever build will reliably hold. Custom tune.
