Does 2021 Prod End This Week?

Jeep originally released that 21’s will end 12/6 with a two day shutdown… 22’s startup on 12/9.
That was the first week of October. Not a whisper since.

Does anyone actually know? Is there REALLY no factory employees that frequent any of the major Jeep forums?

The salesman that I bought mine from just gave me an update saying they are still expecting to begin production on the 9th.

Interesting…my salesperson said they bumped MY22 day 1 production from 12/9 to 12/14, and wouldn’t be surprised if it was bumped again. I’m supposedly scheduled for production the week of 12/6 so I hope she’s correct. Only the Jeep gods know.

Same here. I wish there was some communication if certain options are holding up production so we could elect to remove them if necessary.

It is really hard to know the date of actual start of production until production starts and it would always be subject to stoppage. I placed my 392 order on November 1, 2021 and am just hoping to get the car sometime in February. I sold my existing car and ordered two separate cars. Since they will both be delivered whenever next year, I had to purchase a third car to use as a daily driver until one of the cars arrives!

It appears from my only experience that some Jeeps are in build for a long time. So, they could be finishing up some 21's while starting 22's. Mine was painted Nov 13 but has not shipped yet and I no longer have a ship date. Previous ship dates were Nov 17 and Nov 20.
