Dodge | Speed Week Day 3 | Next Gen Muscle

I usually steer clear of all bragging stuff but I'm giving in to a proud Papa moment.
My daughter created the video & graphics that was playing in the back ground during this reveal.
She does most of the Dodge & Jeep reveals plus a little Maserati etc.
She did the 392 reveal, so she knew it was in the works but didn't tell me!
You know, sworn to secrecy stuff.
OKAY that was my moment, sorry.

I like the idea of the artificial noise. Lack of noise is what part of what makes EV boring. Plus the multiple gears. Shifts add excitement. I'd be more into this than a tesla, but I'm with yall.....I'll stick with the 392.

Wow @Reddvil - That's awesome! I thought the entire presentation was pretty darn cool. I felt Dodge came out swinging and had some good jabs at the other EV makers. I like the style of the new car they revealed. I’m just not sold on EV power plant just yet.

It will be interesting to see if they offer an option with the hurricane I6 motor in it.

Thanks for posting. That was a good watch. They need to work on the sound, it sounds like a leaf blower, but I appreciate they are making an effort there. Overall I think it's solid.
The whole time that car was out, all I could think about was a leaf blower! Thanks for that lol 😂

Wonder if they will charge a monthly fee for the 6 extra performance modes? That way you can have a GT or Hellcat from the same vehicle depending on how much you want to pay.

sure sounded like a monthly subscription the way he talked about it…gotta get in on the recurring revenue game

Let's them make one vehicle on the assembly line, then charge a monthly fee for options including heated seats, steering, safety extra's (adaptive cruise), ect. Makes sense from their end but not going to be so good after you finish your payments and still have to pay for options.

What they could do is put a little v8 in it (1.5 or 2.0L) for sound and use electricity to make it a rocket, but wouldn't be very practical I guess.

It sounds like Dodge will offer the new I6 hurricane motor as an option?

"The Hurricane H.O. will be good for at least 500 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque"
