Do allocations come into play in determining build dates at the factory?

Nope… especially in today’s backwards state of things… typically a dealer allocated build has a build priority of 99. A “sold order” or confirmed customer order will get a build code of 01-10 (usually a 01) which is highest priority.

***edit*** I do think the larger volume dealers have some advantage or pull when it comes to prioritizing Jeep’s ever growing list of “01 Priority” builds though… although this is my own unsubstantiated claim.
