I agree; however, the advantage of boring is that you neither like or dislike the color, so most owners will eventually accept it/ignore it. It would have been “fun” if Jeep had offered custom colors for the dash. I probably would have chosen to brighten up my dash with body-matching Billet Silver. Does anyone know if the current dark gray dash on the 392 is unique to the 392?Its just gray. Boring.
Leather would have been very classy...almost G-Wagen classy.I wish it were leather. I may end up changing it.
Mopar offers several leather dash choices, check this one out... Authentic Mopar Dashboard Panel Trim Kit Black Leather & Caramel Stitching High Altitude. Not sure how close the Caramel stitching is to the "Bronze" stitching of the 392 interior but it does look pretty close in the picture. Something simpler might be appealling as well... Authentic Mopar HVAC Outlet Vent Trim Kit - Orange.Leather would have been very classy...almost G-Wagen classy.

Thanks! The leather dash kit is definitely on my short list of mods. I see they are backordered, so I guess I will get in another line...
I dont think anything on the interior is unique to our 392s. The stitching ect is all stolen from other jeeps... altitude ect.I agree; however, the advantage of boring is that you neither like or dislike the color, so most owners will eventually accept it/ignore it. For daughters jeep, I ordered the black w white stitching (sahara) and sharpied the white to black.Mopar offers several leather dash choices, check this one out... Breaking down to specifics.. It looks like granite but with whiteish metallic in it. Its hard to tell... the metallic doesnt show up unless you shine a light on it so to me, it looks just like a dark sting gray that can glitter in the right light. If you want a dash that matches the exterior - go granite bc "no one will ever know"...Does anyone know the dash color? Is it granite crystal?

I really like the red dash that comes on the standard Rubi's. Strangely odd to me that Jeep didn't come up with something snazzy for such an expensive vehicle.
Once I get mine, I will probably have it painted Firecracker red to match the body paint. One of my complaints about the 392 is that the interior is way too drab for this to be the top of line vehicle. At a minimum, it should have included the leather dash but some other seat colors and stitching would have been nice.
I will probably get the leather dash or have the dash color matched to the bronze accents.

I think that Jeep went with the Granite Crystal Dash because that is the official color for the 80th Anniversary.I really like the red dash that comes on the standard Rubi's. Strangely odd to me that Jeep didn't come up with something snazzy for such an expensive vehicle.
