If you ordered elsewhere at invoice before Jan 17 then the 3% won’t matter. Waited 3 days for Lindsey to reply and when she did the order she set up left off 3 options that she missed. By the time she got back to me the price change kicked it and it was $3000 more. They may get some of those orders built but don’t be surprised if some do not get built through their numerous sold orders. Just get it at a local dealer and get your best price. Far less aggravation. Just my two cents.

Isn't the pricing not at order time, but at actual purchase time at delivery? So it doesn't really matter when / what they did at that point (though it does sound like three balls or three-thousand were dropped), but it really didn't cost you anything, as you'd have paid it anyway, right?

Depends.... some dealers will "guarantee" the price at the time of order. So, even though Jeep order prices increase, your price is locked in. My dealer said they only pay Stellantis the price at the time of order, and Stellantis has accepted that (at least for now). They said if Stellantis changes that policy, I can cancel my order and get my refund back. Of course, then I don't have a Jeep, which was the entire point of ordering one! So, I am taking my chances....

I ordered mine through DanDeery and Cody locked in my price when ordered in October…….. that was very nice to know when I signed the purchase agreement and with the recent price increase, saved over $2,400 compared to the new sticker price for mine! Given all the delays in getting these vehicles built and delivered I would not order unless that price was guaranteed at the time of signing.

Busted a CA→KY→CA mission this past weekend to pick up my 392 from Devin at Dan Cummins and so far, so good. Non-XR ordered third week of February, delivered second week of April. I threw on some 35s, got the windows tinted and I'm loving it.
Thank you to the Dan Cummins Georgetown team. Couldn't recommend them enough.

FCA offers Price Protection on customer sold orders but the dealer has to apply for it with an exception claims process at the time of sale. If your dealer does and you had a signed customer order, then their cost is set, if they don't then you (or the dealer) is stuck with the cost increase.

I ordered mine in 12/21, took delivery 4/22. Price protected and all went exactly as planned with Dan Cummins. Would recommend the program.
