Current Rubicon X owner, I'm looking at a new 392 that just arrived at dealership. Pull the trigger?

Hi Folks. new here and just looking for some input from current 392 owners. I purchased my current 4-door. 3.6 Rubicon X last year and love it. Thing is, I wish it had a bit more power, not that i'm climbing mountains or anything down here in Houston. But I have found myself lusting after those 392's i occasionally see on the roads and one just arrived at the local dealership that was custom built with black seats and red stitching [I hate the red seats] and i think I might buy it tomorrow. I'm in my 60's, retired for the most part, but love the feeling I get driving my jeep. reminds me of college! Thanks for any input you could offer.
Do it

Today is Tuesday.............. If you haven't pulled the trigger already then DON'T! You are not sure you want it!

You won’t regret it. But still have a daily gas saver if you can.

I''ve got a '24 as well as a '15 Rubicon (profile pic) 3..6 with 110k miles that now gets driven by my 17 year old daughter. Still love the '15 and very happy with the '24 (also from Granger, 7% under invoice). Great rig, and maybe I'm one of the few that actually loves the red seats!

Is that 7% under invoice or under MSRP?

I’ll tell you the same thing I told myself. “You worked hard all your life, you don’t want for much, the 392’s won’t be around for much longer, and you only live once!” I repeated that statement to myself for three years before I pulled the trigger and I couldn’t be more happy with my decision. I hope you choose what’s best for you!

I was hesitant about the red seats before I bought my 2024 392, but once I saw them in person, I liked them. A few months later and I can honestly say I love them. Has that exotic race car vibe to them!

Go for the style points with the 392 grocery getter!!! Ours rests easily in the garage next to my 15 SP and 22 SS. best part is it’s the least HP vehicle in Big Daddy’s Garage. Lol. Never tires starting any of them!!!!

You’ll love it!!!

Welcome! 392 is a unique driving experience unlike any Jeep I have ever owned. My humble opinion…. Best limited time Jeep investment available. “Go for it” .

Just purchased the 392 FINAL EDITION and am blown away! Delighted with the purchase.

I was undecided between a 2024 Rubicon X and a 2024 392. Until a fellow here said that if I am in that much consideration of a 392 but were to buy the Rubicon X instead, then every time I'd see a 392 on the road I would have the woulda/coulda/shoulda thoughts.

He was right. I bought the 392 and love it.

I have both and have to say they have their own characteristics. I like the 3.6 for off-roading because of it’s lower weight, “fuel efficiency”, and unrefined ride. The 392 is my go-to for any street or highway driving, drive quality is just that much better. Oh yeah, and of course you know which one gets all the smiles, giggles, and “American muscle car” comments. Ordered mine earlier this year from Granger for 7% below sticker. Great experience which I’ll probably repeat again soon for another, if they still manufacture. Good luck and enjoy.
Spot on with those comments. My V-6 Sahara is great of-road but the 2024 392 Special Edition is the highway go-to. Heavier, tighter steering and incredible power when you need it. The looks and comments don't hurt, either! Cheers!
