Thought that I would give impressions of Chapman so far...

They were easy to work with during the ordering process and stayed in contact. Anytime I emailed for an update, Ashlie responded immediately. They notified me when I was flipped to a 22 and always knew more than Jeep Chat did.....

They sent pictures when requested once it arrived and now have the paperwork overnighted and in my hand to complete the sale. The price matches the 4% invoice that we agreed to back in July. (minor change for 22my)

I was a little nervous doing all of this remotely and without a deposit, but so far it's been great.

Next steps -

Send back paperwork
Wire payment.
Go through PDI and make ready. (Interested in how they document condition before my shippers get it)
Coordinate shipping
Take delivery in Texas
Smile

I'll let you know how the experience goes through the remaining steps., and how Stopwatch does in shipping. I am on the TRX board and a lot of people there have used them and have had good things to say.

I can agree with all of this... I'm also doing it remotely but flying in tomorrow to pick it up so I'll sign the paperwork there. They did honor the price etc.

I am curious as to when you ordered... since it was flipped to a 22. I thought I remembered seeing you ordered in July?

Correct - Ordered end of July and they flipped the order to a 22 in October. I wonder if they'd let you look at it to see if you see anything odd - scratches, etc. Of course that's only if you had time for that.

I ordered in the middle of August and mine is a 21. No real rhyme or reason .. unless it was the color. Mine is hydro.

And yes sir..I will do my best to look it over while I'm there if its out on the lot.

My TRX is Hydro....good choice

Glad to hear things are going well so far. I'm about to start the process and will be ordering remote.

I've got a weekend place in Jonestown so hopefully I'll see you around town.

Stop by if you're ever in the area - I've got a place on lake Travis

Mine arrived also, it’s been very smooth, I agree 100% the responses are very timely to any questions. I’m trying to work out a time to drive up from GA (12 hours) and pick it up. I have a trade so I’m driving up.

Mine is Sarge Green!!

Didn't see it RC.. it must have been in getting cleaned up at the time. I saw 2 Snazzberries.. one regular 392 and one without a sky one touch.
I got a chance to walk around the lot.. quite a few of them there.

Well mine is shipping out of there so I won't get the same experience.

So..how was the drive?

So..how was the drive?

Was great... tried to follow the break in procedure and did fairly well with it. After 500 miles I let er eat. Its a blast!
Mpg is not good at 80mph however lol. Averaged 13.8 over the trip... but a lot of that was up and down the Poconos.

Bet that thing was a blast to drive through the Poconos. Had a rental screw-up once when I needed to drive through there. All they had left was a 3-banger Festiva. And it was PINK! I had to get running starts down one mountain in hopes I’d make it up the next. Fully loaded haulers were passing me. It wouldn’t crest 25 mph up hill.

It was a blast... barely knew there were any hills.
Took 80 all the way back to Illinois.. started to look forward to the next toll booth... so I could launch out of the chute.

I do miss driving through the Pennsylvania mountains and scenery. Might have to make a northern road trip IF I ever take delivery...
